Our team of nurses, home health aides, and therapists strive to give each one of our patients a personalized level of care specific to the patient’s needs and goals. Our continued education and training programs prepare our Caregivers for a variety of cases.

Skilled Nursing

Our experienced registered nurses are prepared to help patients with a variety of needs. Our nurses continuously monitor the medical care specific to each patient. This may include the following:

  • Medication management and education, administration and management of injectable medications
  • Nasopharyngeal and Tracheostomy Aspiration
  • Catheter care
  • Wound Care
  • Ostomy Care
  • Wound-vac management and teaching
  • Venipuncture including INR monitoring
  • Counseling the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
  • Chronic disease management
  • Diet education
  • Anticoagulant Management
  • Parenteral nutrition (TPN or lipids) administration
  • Enteral nutrition or tube feeding
  • Pre and Post-operative care management and teaching

Home Health Aide

Our home health aides are passionate individuals, committed to ensuring patients are safe and comfortable throughout their day. Some of their duties may include the following:
 
  • Maintaining a healthy, clean, and safe environment
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, such as bed, sponge, tub, or shower baths, as well as dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation, fluid, and nutritional  support
  • Medication reminders 

Rehabilitative Care

MetroCare of Springfield HomeCare’s rehabilitative care services ensure our patients are provided with the therapeutic care they need to feel stronger in their day-to-day life. Our therapy services include:
